Working with the NanoCenter: A Guide for the Off-Campus User

The NanoCenter is a regional resource open to all. A significant and growing number of our users come from outside of the UMCP community.

Topics that will be addressed by our speakers include:

  • What can the NanoCenter do for me?
  • Overviews of the Nanoscale Imaging and Spectroscopy Lab and the FabLab
  • The Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTECH) - accelerating new ventures, spurring economic growth, and bringing university innovation to Maryland companies through technology entrepreneurship and partnership programs
  • Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS) - jointly funding collaborative R&D projects between Maryland companies and University System of Maryland faculty
  • The Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) - Maryland's leading source of funding for seed capital and entrepreneurial business assistance for technology transfer and development programs
