Description Owner: tjwoehl@umd.edu, 301-405-1074 The iHR320 is a UV-VIS imaging spectrometer with two independent light sources: High power ozone free Xenon lamp source (250 - 2500 nm) and UV-VIS fiber light source (200 - 1100nm). It is an automated, triple grating, 320 mm focal length (f/4.1 aperture) spectrometer for multi-channel CCD spectroscopy. The design of the spectrometer itself and its accompanying accessories and software enables users to customize the iHR for any experiment. The customization starts with the choice of entrance and exit ports, gratings, and other spectroscopic accessories for various measurements. The spectrometer has two entrance and two exit ports, kinematic triple grating turret with on-axis grating rotation. The detector is a thermoelectrically cooled front-illuminated open-electrode CCD. It allows configurations for transmission and reflectance spectroscopy, as well as photoluminescence and fluorescence measurements. Complete system control is provided through SynerJY® spectroscopy software which is based on Origin.
