Director's Note

Welcome to the NanoCenter Hot Papers Newsletter. Every six months, this newsletter rounds up the most interesting and significant papers that include work done in the NanoCenter's AIM Lab or Fab Lab.

Each issue will feature a NanoCenter instrument in order to showcase its capabilities. This time it's the Atomic Layer Deposition System (ALD), which can deposit substances precisely and tunably. The ALD was used in a paper in Energy Storage Materials to build on a garnet scaffold and in "Measurement of the Casimir Torque" to create a birefringent layer. If you think this instrument can be of use to you, please contact the NanoCenter or myself.

Very truly,
Sang Bok Lee
Director, NanoCenter
