What is RSS ?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Basically, it is a format standard used to deliver information to a subscriber. Since it is a standard format, it allows the presentation of the information to be customized.

There are many services and programs that can aggregate RSS feeds consolidating information from many different sources; these are called "Readers". We've listed links to a few popular Reader Services in the right-hand column.

For more information on RSS visit the Wikipedia Entry.
